I have never been so flabbergasted when I came back to my room after the holidays and Glacier was still out in my room. Not only that but he had managed to move Santa and Frosty to the couch! What a little sneak. There was no note this time but I just had to capture it before I put my holiday decorations up for the year. (In the past I put them up before I left for Houston with my family. This year I was in such a rush to get to HTOWN I was unable to put my holiday decorations up like I normally do...) Maybe now I will wait till Epiphany to clean everything up.... Remember piphany is the celebration of when the wise men first encountered baby Jesus. (That is why there are technically 12 days of Christmas.)
I went on a 5 day road trip to Nashville and back. The plan was to go visit my cousin in Nashville and see St. Paul & the Broken Bones for New Years Eve. The show was amazing, and we had a great time in Nashville (as usual.) This was my first time to drive out there though. We stopped in Memphis to see Elvis' & some ducks at a historic hotel "The Peabody" & relaxed in Hot Springs, Arkansas.
Although the destination was my cousin in Nashville I had the most fun in the whole process of the adventure....

I learned so much about Elvis' life & impact. I wouldn't necessarily call myself the biggest fan either... But I have a lot more respect for his integrity, generosity & his music in general after visiting. He still has many records for most consecutive performances with highest ticket sales to day in Las Vegas. Fun facts: He only co-wrote 2 of his songs (most of his songs were written for him), he married his wife Priscilla in Las Vegas.
